PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 15, 2011 – PYBAR Mining Services is pleased to announce it has secured the tender for development work at Osborne Mine with Ivanhoe Australia Limited.
Ivanhoe Australia is focused on the exploration and development of its portfolio of mineral p rc helicopter market place rojects to build a series of operating mines within a mining-friendly, politically-safe, operating environment.
Ivanhoe's remarkable success in exploration over the past few years has been strengthened with the acquisition of the Osborne plant in October 2010 and positions the company on the cusp of becoming an important base-metal mining company.
Recognising that the needs for emerging industry producers such as Ivanhoe differ from that of much larger, more established companies PYBAR structured its tender with a simple, cost-effective approach to start up. This flexible methodology included use of client's existing equipment, infrastructure and inventory where possible to minimise costs, plus the mobilisation of an early start up team to assist with preparation of client supplied plant.
The Osborne Operation is located around 160 km from Cloncurry, Queensland and comprises mining and processing facilities from a recently operating copper and gold mine. Mine development is scheduled to commence immediately and copper and gold production is expected to resume in 2012.
The development will utilise the existing mine access completed by the previous mine owners and will include level development, ventilation raise-boring, drilling access and resource delineation drilling. Kenmore Bisque 15 inchi p>
Fully established in Queensland with significant on-going operations in Mount Isa, PYBAR is well positioned to supply th garbage compactor review e equipment and labour for this project - work is confirmed for 12 months with the possibility of extension helicop ter technology s.
The Osborne Complex is going to become the centre of Ivanhoe Australia's producing operations in north-western Queensland, where Ivanhoe Australia has the potential to develop three operating projects within the next two to five years.
With a focus on cost effective high speed development PYBAR is set to prove itself with Ivanhoe Australia with its sights set on establishing yet another long term partnership within the industry.
